Plant introduction:
Astragalus, also known as spongy Astragalus. Perennial herb, 50-100 cm tall. Taproots are thick, woody, often branched, grayish white. Stem erect, upper part much branched, slender, white pilose. Produced in Inner Mongolia, Shanxi, Gansu, Heilongjiang and other places. Astragalus has a history of more than 2000 years. Produced in Northeast, North and northwest. It grows on the edge of forests, shrubs or under sparse forests, and is also found in hillside grasslands or meadows, and is cultivated throughout the country.
Active Ingredients:
astragaloside root contains Astragaloside Ⅰ ~ Ⅷ, daucosterol, β-sitosterol, palmitic acid, astragalus saponin A, B, C, 2 ‘, 4 ‘-dihydroxy-5, 6-dimethoxy-isoflavane, kumataknin, choline, betaine, folate, calycosin, formononetin. It also contains the antibacterial component L-3-hydroxy-9-methoxy-rosethane. Astragalus root contains soyasaponin Ⅰ, Astragalus Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅳ and carotenin.
